Elementary Homeschool Theatre Class, Fall 2024

Ages 6-12

This class develops basic theatrical skills while nurturing creativity, teamwork and personal commitment as students come together to bring a live theatrical show to the NarroWay stage.

Students engage in two performances of the Christmas musical, "Back to the Manger."

Class Information:

• Engage in an educational musical theatre course.
• Ages 6-12.
• Classes meet on Wednesdays, 9am-12pm September 11 through November 20.
• Class experience culminates with two performances of the musical "Back to the Manger."
• Course fee of $185 includes full semester instruction and cast t-shirt.

Class Schedule:

• Sept. 11, (Wednesday), 9am-12pm; First class meeting.
• Nov. 21, (Thursday), 10am-9pm. TECH DAY and PERFORMANCES. (Pack a sack lunch. Supper will be provided.)

Performance Information

November 21; 6pm and 8pm

Students perform the musical "Back to the Manger."

During the annual Christmas Caroling Outreach at Midway Community Church, Jackson and his friends discover a time machine in the basement. After accidentally hitting a lever, they embark on an adventure throughout the 20th century and learn how helping others changes lives. Seeing effect of the caroling outreach over the decades, once-skeptical Jackson comes to know Christ better and discovers the true value of God’s gift and why we celebrate His birth.Published by Semsen Music.

To register under a "group" rate, students must be in the same household. Any "group" registrations received that disregard this policy will be cancelled by the site administrator.
