Upper Level Homeschool Theatre Class, Spring 2022

Ages 13-18

This class develops more complex theatrical skills while nurturing leadership, teamwork and personal commitment as students come together to bring a live theatrical show to the NarroWay stage.

Students perform the full-length musical "ESTHER" on Wednesday, May 18 at 6:30pm. To enroll in the class, students should be able to participate in the culminating performance.

Class Information:

• Engage in an educational, 16-week musical theatre course.
• Exclusively for age 13-18.
• Classes meet on Wednesdays, 1pm - 4pm, Feb. 2 - May 18. PLUS, see schedule below for additional times.
• Class experience culminates with a performance of the musical "Esther."
• Course fee of $200 includes full semester instruction and cast t-shirt.

Class Schedule:

• February 2 (Wednesday), 1pm - 4pm; First class meeting.
• Classes continue weekly on Wednesday, 1pm-4pm.
• May 18 (Wednesday), 9am-8:30pm; PERFORMANCE DAY. Final class session meets all day. Bring a sack lunch. Supper provided.

Students perform the musical "ESTHER."

A full-length, two-act musical, "Esther" tells the story of an orphaned Jewish girl who becomes Queen of Persia. When her people are to be annihilated by royal decree, she is forced to trust God through frightening circumstances, with the survival of her entire race seemingly on her shoulders. To submit a registration for any class, you must agree to the terms and conditions and sign an authorized consent form. You are encouraged to review those documents in advance.

To register under a "group" rate, students must be in the same household. Any "group" registrations received that disregard this policy will be cancelled by the site administrator.
